Now here's the fun bit: You now have to bring out a steady stream of "good" submissions or you can lose that scouted status again in the foreseeable future. And after losing it that way you can only get scouted by Audio Portal Moderators.
I'm not saying your tracks are bad, but whoever scouted you this early might have done you a disservice.
(I'm not a NG moderator. Take everything strangers tell you online with a grain of salt and do your own fact-checking.)
That all seems a bit cynical to me. I don't think the average user is in much danger of losing their scouted status, and I'm planning on posting regularly anyways. Also, I did my research already, and I kinda resent someone trying to get me scared and anxious over something as useless as my status on a website I use
@SamAtlantis I have no issues with being called cynical. But to share my perspective for a bit:
Rule-breaking aside, (aside from self-promotion) the two most common news posts related to the Audio Portal that I read are "How do I get my track on GD?" and "I got unscouted. Help!" so I thought I'd give you the heads-up.
Also: I am glad to hear that some people actually 'do' some research. :)
You can still resent me, though. No hard feelings.
Fair nuf, thanks for the heads up
